Policy

REFUNDS AND RETURNS

Returns must be in as new condition with tags attached unless faulty.
  Faulty goods will be dealt with as per the manufacturer's warranty.
  We will happily exchange or refund your item provided the item and its packaging are in the original condition with the original tags attached and tax receipt.

We apologise if you have received a product that is faulty, or if you have received the wrong product.  You are welcome to an exchange or refund.  Please contact us on 07 575 3493 Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm to arrange this. Make sure you have your order details handy.
 

FAULTY PRODUCTS

Under the Consumer Guarantees Act you are entitled to have your product repaired, replaced or refunded.

Simply contact us on 07 575 3493 Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm to enquire about returning the product for inspection. Alternatively you can return the product to your nearest East Coast Paddler location with proof of purchase.

 

DAMAGED PRODUCTS

If you suspect your product has been damaged during delivery please do not throw away the parcel or cover in which the product came as our courier will need to inspect it. Please contact us on 07 575 3493 Monday – Friday 8.30am – 5pm and we will organise the return of the product for inspection and will endeavour to send you a replacement as soon as possible.
 

BACK ORDERS

If a product is temporarily out of stock it will be placed on backorder and you will be notified.  If an item on back order cannot be sourced within 14 working days your order will be refunded.
 

PRICING

Prices are subject to change without notice. All credit cards are charged in New Zealand dollars.


DELIVERY

The delivery times provided by EASTCOAST PADDLER are estimates only. EAST COAST PADDLER will not be held accountable for late deliveries or loss or damage relating to late deliveries.
In the event that multiple items are ordered, part deliveries may be made where stock is not available. All reasonable attempts to notify you will be made using the details you provided.
 

ACCEPTANCE OF GOODS

The buyer is responsible for inspecting the goods for fault and notifying us within 5 working days of receiving the goods should there be a fault.


PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS

EASTCOAST PADDLER and its affiliates attempt to be as accurate as possible. However, EASTCOAST PADDLER does not warrant that product descriptions or other content of this site is accurate, complete, reliable, current, or error-free. If a product offered by EASTCOAST PADLER itself is not as described, your sole remedy is to return it in unused condition.


OTHER BUSINESS

Parties other than EASTCOAST PADDLER and its subsidiaries sell product lines on this site. In addition, we provide may links to the sites of affiliated companies and certain other businesses. We are not responsible for examining or evaluating, and we do not warrant the offerings of, any of these businesses or individuals or the content of their web sites. EASTCOAST PADDLER does not assume any responsibility or liability for the actions, product, and content of all these and any other third parties. You should carefully review their privacy statements and other conditions of use.


INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMS CHARGES

Some orders may incur a customs or import duty charge. EASTCOAST PADDLER do not have any control over these charges or are unable to advise what they will be, as it is based on your own countries regulations & compliances. All charges are to be paid by the customer on delivery of order. Orders cannot be returned to sender and EASTCOAST PADDLER will never pay these customs charges on your behalf. If you refuse to pay these charges your parcel may be abandoned, and EASTCOAST PADDLER will not be held responsible for any loss of funds as a result of this occurrence.


ORDER CANCELLATIONS

If notified before goods have been dispatched, EASTCOAST PADDLER can accommodate order cancellations. If items have been shipped, EASTCOAST PADDLER reserves the right to refuse order cancellation or charge a cancellation fee should we be able to request the return of the package from our delivery service.
